Fresno Taco Fest
The Fresno Taco Fest taking place at Woodward Park on October 21, 2017. The festival will feature 20 of Fresno’s best taco-centric restaurants, a fun lineup of local and national concert acts, live Lucha Libre wrestling matches, a Chihuahua beauty pageant and races, and interactive experiences. Fresno Taco Fest is open to anyone ages 21 and up.
11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Festival organizers plan to announce the music lineup in the coming days which will include strong local acts as well as national talent.
Participating local restaurants will consist of a mix of the best taco-centric establishments from the Fresno region. Restaurants will offer their signature tacos with prices ranging from $2 to $4 as well as one additional item from their in-store menu.
Lucha Libre wrestling will take place throughout the day between band performances. Baja Stars, a Tijuana based pro wrestling organization founded in 1988, will organize and conduct the matches.
One of the more exciting events at Taco Fest includes Chihuahua races and a beauty pageant. Dog owners can register their Chihuahua’s on FresnoTacoFest.com for either of the events. Doggie care will be provided as well.
Tickets are available online at www.FresnoTacoFest.com – $20 in advance through Sept. 20; $25 from Sept. 21 to Oct. 20; and $30 day of show. General Admission includes entrance to the festival and all the amazing music and entertainment. Tacos and beverages are an additional cost.
VIP tickets include beverages, taco bar, private restrooms and front row access to the concerts – $100 in advance.
