Nicole After Hours
Nicole has worked in media since the age of nine. She played a lead role for 6 years on The Fox Kids Club, a TV show that broadcasted throughout the Central Valley. Her passion for the television industry led her to print and commercial work, for which she earned an ADDY Advertising Award at age 18.
While earning her bachelors degree in Sociology at UC Irvine, Nicole applied her extensive dance experience to the Claire Trevor School of the Arts and performed high profile routines across Southern California. During school breaks, she would frequently appear on-air back home in Fresno, as a guest correspondent on the local CBS affiliate station (KGPE).
After college, Nicole landed a coveted internship on the set of Paramount’s Entertainment Tonight, in which she worked closely with the show’s director and lead host covering red carpet events in addition to appearances on ET on MTV. As she honed in on her talents, she co-produced and hosted a popular online fashion show called Eye on Style and doubled as a reporter for well known entertainment magazine, In Touch Weekly.
Giordano returned to the Valley to take a job as host and co-producer of local programming blocks on the KFRE CW Network and appeared regularly on KMPH’s Great Day and Valley Life to chat up entertainment news and local happenings.
Nicole expanded her multi-media platform when she brought her colorful style to Cumulus Media with her heavily branded Y101 After Hours show over an 8-year run. She interviewed bands, DJs, designers and artists as she sustained her “in the scene” persona hosting a series of unplugged shows with her top-rated night show. And out of her love for indie music, Nicole co-created the music blog, My Indie Nation, which developed into an energetic Comcast video series. She highlighted up-and-comers, gave record reviews and conducted extended interviews with artists from all over the globe.
